Audrey was the owner, heart, and soul of the Damascus Fiber Arts School. Audrey taught Tapestry on the Navajo Loom for over 50 years in this building. At home in the mountains outside of Sandy, Oregon, Audrey wove her bright and colorful tapestries on a large Navajo style loom. Her daylight basement studio has a wall of colorful wool yarn, a place to dye, lots of light and a wood stove for chilly nights.
Sandy Public Library has had the honor of hosting a couple exhibits of her work in the past, and in the early 2000's Audrey donated this tapestry. It hangs in the children's room in the Sandy Public Library. See a full tribute to her at the Damascus Fiber Arts School HERE
