Friends of the Library are looking for volunteers!

The Friends of the Sandy Library are looking for five persons to help transport books, set-up and tear down the book sale this July during Sandy Mountain Festival. 

Setup is Thursday (July 7) evening after the parade, and tear down is Sunday (July 10) late afternoon. 

Duties will include: 

• Transporting the books to the sale location (library) around 2-3 hrs.
• Organizing the books for the sale. 
• Setup around 2-3 hrs. 
• Teardown should be a little shorter, because there are less books.

Anime Club - Teens

1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month

Join us for Anime Club starting Wednesday, March 2, 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm in the Sandy Library Community Room. New Anime Club participants will help us pick the next anime series to watch! We just got a premium subscription to Crunchyroll, an anime streaming website. Manga drawing supplies will be provided while you watch.

Masks are required in the library.

Are you an internet novice in need of more information? If so, sign up for Internet Basics! Learn basic internet terminology and how to navigate a browser, locate a website, identify common domains and stay safe while searching in this class.

The Fireplace Room at Sandy Public Library is sporting four new Chromeboxes thanks to the Friends of the Sandy Public Library. 

To use these computers

∙ Log into the Chromebox with your library card number and PIN. 

∙ To gain full access to the Google Workspace, you will need to log into Google with your Google account information. (Gmail address and password).

∙ Printing capabilities coming soon! If you need to print, choose one of our computers in the main computer lab area.
