Keeping warm, thank you!

We collected so much to keep our neighbors warm this winter


HOODLAND 

  • 139 hats
  • 21 mittens/gloves
  • 20 socks/slippers
  • 12 scarves
  • 3 ear warmers
  • 2 hat/gloves combos
Two people hand-made most of the hats -- one person made around 80 and the other person made around 30!

SANDY 

  • 69 hats
  • 3 hat and scarf sets
  • 19 pairs of socks
  • 19 pairs of gloves
  • 4 sleeves
  • 15 scarves
  • 3 sweatshirts
  • fleece vest
  • lined pants

Teen Art Contest 2023

  

Submit your artwork for the 2023 Teen Art Contest!

Each year libraries in Clackamas County look for help from local teens to design the Teen Summer Reading artwork. Young artists, ages 12-18, can submit their original artwork for this year’s theme: Find Your Voice!

The winning entry will receive a $100 cash gift card and may be used countywide on 2023 Summer Reading materials. Honorable mention prizes will be awarded to an artist from grade 6-8 (age 11-13) and to an artist from grade 9-12 (age 14-18).

What:
Your original artwork that represents this summer's theme: Find Your Voice!
When:
Submit your artwork between January 2-31.
Details
  • 8 1/2" x 11" in size
  • No words
  • In color
  • Computer-generated images may be used, but must be original
  • Limit two (2) entries per contestant
