We collected so much to keep our neighbors warm this winter

HOODLAND

• 21 mittens/gloves
• 20 socks/slippers
• 12 scarves
• 3 ear warmers
• 2 hat/gloves combos

Two people hand-made most of the hats -- one person made around 80 and the other person made around 30!

SANDY 

• 69 hats
• 3 hat and scarf sets
• 19 pairs of socks
• 19 pairs of gloves
• 4 sleeves
• 15 scarves
• 3 sweatshirts
• fleece vest
• lined pants

Help keep your neighbors warm this winter! The Hoodland and Sandy Library are collecting donations for our Hat, Scarf, and Mitten Tree (new and handmade clothing only please). Items will be distributed by Dd and Mh Provider of Oregon.

If you would like to make something to donate, here are some good websites for free knit and crochet patterns: ravelry , all free knitting, all free crochet.. We will also have some simple patterns available during our library curbside hours. If you're interested in visiting with other crafters while working on your project, please join our virtual Sit & Knit on Thursdays at 2:00
