Girls Who Code at the library!

Girls Who Code Clubs are meant for girls to join our sisterhood of supportive peers and role models, and use Computer Science to change the world. When you join a Club, you will be able to learn from fun and simple online coding tutorials, build community through interactive activities and learn about inspiring role models. You then work in teams to design and build a Girls Who Code Project that solves real-world problems you care about through code!
This club is for girls in grades 6th - 12th and will run for 10 weeks. The club is a base on a hybrid model meaning that we’ll meet weekly for 45 minutes to participate in Sisterhood Activities, shine a spotlight on Women in Tech, discuss our Girls Who Code project tutorials, and share our progress, challenges, and successes related to our Girls Who Code projects. Girls will work on their project tutorials and Girls Who Code projects at their own pace and convenience. Enrollment will take place during the first meeting.

Start date: Wednesday, September 30, 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Meetings: Wednesdays weekly through December
Meeting location: Google Meet
