The 411 on Educator Cards

Did you know that the Sandy and Hoodland Library offer Educator Cards?

If you are a Clackamas County teacher or childcare provider working in K - 12 education, homeschool, or an afterschool program, you have the option to sign up for a special Educator Card.

An Educator Card is a great opportunity to expand the amount of checkouts you can have so that you can ensure you have the materials you need when teaching or planning education.

Here are a few facts about Educator Cards:

  • Educator Cards are for educational material only.
  • You can have 80 items checked out and up to 40 items on hold.
  • The checkout period is 6 weeks.
  • Educator Cards don't accrue overdue fines (but you'll still be charged for any damaged or lost items).
  • Educator Cards are an annual renewable card.

In order to receive an educator card, you'll need the following:

  • A personal Clackamas County library card in good standing.
  • Proof of educator verification (ie: school identification, pay stub, letter from administer or local education service district, etc.)
If you're interested in receiving an Educator Card, stop by the Sandy or Hoodland Libraries to learn more or sign up!
