Just a reminder...we’re open!
The Library is open so, therefore, the BOOKNOOK is open ...7 days a week, Library hours. We’re tucked away in the southeast corner of the Library. But we’re not hidden! You won’t need a trail of bread crumbs to find us. Walk up the library ramp to our shelves and racks loaded with reading, listening and viewing of every manner.
We just want to remind you in case you haven’t visited us for a while that we’re back and continuing to offer sales and bargains as we always have at the BOOKNOOK.
THE CHILDREN’S CORNER is your first stop at the BOOKNOOK where you’ll still find a wide selection of books for every age, from toddlers to the YA group. We’ve arranged the shelves to make it easier for you to find the category you may be seeking. We have fiction and non-fiction, that includes art, poetry, history, biographies, science, novels, adventure, mystery, general reference, etc., plus series books and picture books. Although this area is dedicated to children’s interests, parents may also discover books offering help with special situation needs.
Next stop is the “BOOK ALLEY” and our huge selection of novels and non-fiction. On the left we feature non-fiction categories that include every possible subject from Art to Science, and more. The shelves on the right side of Book Alley contain all varieties of fiction – Romance, Mystery, Sci-Fi, Adventure, Fantasy, Christian novels, plus.
Visit our special corner of the BOOKNOOK, at the end of Book Alley. It’s not just the super bargains you’ll find there, but the variety of topics - gardening, cooking, photography, travel, to name a few. This corner pays tribute to crafting with reduced prices over our regular prices of books and magazines on Woodworking, Knitting, Sewing, and many more. Currently, you’ll find a special sale of dated Woodworking magazines. Such sales occur frequently during the year.
In a time of inflation, a visit to the BOOKNOOK treats your pocketbook with kindness!
Just a reminder, the BOOKNOOK is more than selling books.
Our mission is to support the Sandy Public Library, which we do with monies earned through your purchases. We are able to fund the multitude of programs offered by the Library to the Sandy area community, programs such as Kids Club, Lego Club, both after school programs, Library Craft Night, Computer Classes for Beginners and so many more.
Your purchases during the year, donation of materials to be sold in the BOOKNOOK, plus money gifts all contribute to the success of the Sandy Public Library and its service to the community.
