New Teen Makerspace Camp

Wednesdays, 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Teen Makerspace Camp is a FREE after-school activity, 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm, at the Sandy Community Center. Registration is required and class sizes are limited to 15 students. Our makerspace is a space where teenagers ages 12 - 17 can come to explore their creativity, curiosity, and interests through hands-on projects and innovative technology. Whether you're into laser engraving, 3D printing, sticker and button-making, or just want to experiment with new tools and materials, we've got you covered. Our knowledgeable library staff is here to help you learn and grow, providing guidance and support as you tackle challenging projects and bring your ideas to life. So come join us and unleash your inner maker!

After school Kids Club returns

Afterschool Kids Club returns Sandy Public Library Community Room Starting: Tuesday, September 12, 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm  We are excited to offer two fun after-school events every other Tuesday at the Sandy Public Library! Our LEGO Club will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, and our STEM Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month. During LEGO Club, you'll have the opportunity to build something amazing from our extensive collection of LEGOs. Afterward, you can display your creation for the rest of the month until we use the bricks at the next LEGO Club. Our STEM Club is all about science-related activities, and we'll present something new and exciting for you to try every month. Don't miss out on the fun - join us at the library every other Tuesday after school for Kids Club!
